I’m the owner and lead photographer at Five Graces Photography.
With over 16 years of professional experience—including 9 years specialising in early learning, kindergarten, and family photography—I’ve had the privilege of photographing more than 20,000 children.
Children’s wellbeing is at the heart of everything I do. I’m a founding director of Early Learning Photographers Australia (ELPA), an industry body created to set clear, child-safe, ethical, and best-practice standards for photography in early learning environments. This means every session is carefully designed to be respectful, play-based, and centred around each child’s comfort and consent.
My passion is capturing children just as they are — curious, joyful, thoughtful, and wonderfully unique. I take the time to help even the shyest little ones feel safe and confident, so their personalities can shine naturally in front of the camera.
Hi, I’m Nicole!
I’m part of the photography team here at Five Graces Photography, and I bring over 11 years of experience to every Photo Week.
My approach is calm, friendly, and full of fun. I have a particular interest in working with children with additional needs, and I take great care to ensure every child feels comfortable, safe, and confident so their genuine, joyful personalities can shine through.
I’m known for my patience, attention to detail, and sense of humour—there’s usually plenty of laughter wherever I go! I love creating a relaxed, supportive environment where every child can truly be themselves, resulting in beautiful portraits families will treasure for years to come.

I’m part of the photography team here at Five Graces Photography, and if you can imagine Little Miss Sunshine with a camera, that’s pretty much me!
My approach is bright, bubbly, playful and full of laughter! I love turning Photo Week into a fun-filled adventure, where children are so busy giggling, playing and having the best time that they completely forget there’s even a camera around.
Whether I’m being a little bit silly, making funny faces or joining in on the fun, I have a knack for bringing out those big belly laughs, cheeky grins and wonderfully genuine expressions.
I believe the best photographs happen when children are simply being themselves. My goal is to make every child feel like the star of their own little adventure, capturing all the joy, personality and magic of childhood along the way!
There's never a dull moment when I'm behind the camera, and that's exactly how I like it!
Hi, I’m Ben!
I’m part of the photography team here at Five Graces Photography, and I’m affectionately known as the gentle giant of the team!
Some people call me the Pied Piper of children, and for good reason! Wherever I go, the little ones seem to follow. The kids find me utterly hilarious, and whether it's my silly antics, cheeky sense of humour or the way I turn everything into a game, there's usually a crowd of giggling children wherever I am!
In fact, our biggest challenge is often getting the children to leave me alone long enough to photograph someone else!
Despite my larger-than-life presence, my approach is incredibly gentle, patient and relaxed. I have a natural ability to connect with children, making even the shyest little ones feel comfortable, confident and ready to join in the fun.
I believe the best photographs happen when children are laughing so hard they forget they're even being photographed. Those genuine belly laughs, cheeky grins and beautiful little personalities are exactly what I love to capture.
For me, Photo Week is all about fun, friendship and making every child feel special. And if I finish the day with a trail of little people following me around, I know I've done my job!
Hi, I’m Ken!
I’m part of the photography team here at Five Graces Photography, and I’m affectionately known as the language legend of the team!
I might be one of the quieter personalities behind the camera, but don’t let that fool you! I have a wonderfully cheeky sense of humour, and somehow there’s always a group of children giggling away whenever I’m around.
One of my favourite things about photography is connecting with children from all different backgrounds. I speak English, Cantonese and a little Japanese, which means I can help children feel welcome, understood and comfortable in front of the camera, sometimes with a few laughs in their own language!
My approach is gentle, patient and quietly playful. I love building trust with children, finding out what makes them smile and capturing those beautiful, natural expressions when they least expect it.
I believe laughter is a universal language, and whether we're sharing a joke, a silly moment or a smile, my goal is to make every child feel happy, included and completely themselves.
I may not be the loudest photographer in the room, but judging by all the laughter around me, I'm definitely having just as much fun as the kids!
